Q. How long did you date before you got engaged and how long were you engaged for?
A. We dated for about 1.5 years and were engaged for about a year.

Q. What was the story of the proposal?
A. Nikhil wanted to surprise me, but I had my suspicions that a proposal was afoot and was on high alert! So to keep the surprise, he woke me up in the morning and proposed first thing, then whisked me off to Las Vegas for a fun and romantic weekend. Awesome.

Q. What’s your favorite thing about being married?
A. Coming home to my best friend every single day.

Q. What are some of your favorite memories from your wedding day?
A. The first look. I’ll never forget the look on Nikhil’s face when I came around the corner and into view. Our entire photo shoot was a blast. Our first dance was also a major highlight- I knew my husband could dance, but he blew me and everyone else away!

Q. Why did you choose to hire a videographer?
A. We knew we’d be on a high that day and wanted to be able to relive the moments later.

Q. What is one thing you’d tell a couple to make sure they capture on video?
A. The first look. It’s just such a special moment. And some candid moments as well- there is so much joy and comedy on a wedding day, and it’s lovely to have that captured.

Q. What piece of advice would you tell a couple planning their wedding?
A. RELAX! Nobody will notice the tiny details except for you. The most important thing is to have fun and share your joy, and you’ll do that anyway.

A. Just have fun!

A. Being able to enjoy the day with all our friends and family.

Q. How did you guys meet?
A. We are both nurses and originally met at work, Long Beach memorial.

Q. How long did you date before you got engaged and how long were you engaged for?
A. we dated for a year and a half before getting engaged and were engaged 6 months before getting married

Q. What was the story of the proposal?
A. Buzz is a character, he planned out the proposal for months! Basically, we were on vacation in San Diego and he buried the ring in the sand and had me find it with a metal detector!

Q. What’s your favorite thing about being married?
A. Knowing that at the end of everyday, we get to go to bed together, and every morning we get to wake up together!

Q. What’s the funniest thing about being married?
A. haha, hmmm ……..

Q. What are some of your favorite memories from your wedding day?
A. I loved seeing him at the end of the aisle … him singing to me at the reception … dancing like crazy at our reception!

Q. Why did you choose to hire a videographer?
A. To be able to feel our wedding day all over again every!

Q. What is one thing you’d tell a couple to make sure they capture on video?
A. Whatever is important to you! But I think getting a feel of the interactions of your wedding party, your vows, first dance … special moments between husband and wife.

Q. What one detail are you glad the videographer captured?
A. I loved the getting ready parts! I got to see what my husband and his groomsmen were doing while I was getting ready! Also, seeing our guests’ faces and reactions, because on the wedding day you miss those things!

Q. What is the best part of being a newlywed?
A. It’s so much fun! All of it is fun! I love when my husband refers to me as his “wife” … Love that!

Q. What piece of advice would you tell a couple planning their wedding?
A. Just relax and do the best you can! In the end it is about the two of YOU, not all the minute wedding details.

Q. What was the hardest part about planning a wedding?
A. EVERYTHING! haha. Dishing out money constantly was hard … getting a 250 person wedding done in 6 months – everything was difficult!

Q. In a few words, share with future newlyweds some marriage wisdom?
A. Just ENJOY your day. You will notice little things that aren’t right, but WHO CARES! Just ENJOY all the hard work you put into it … and enjoy each other

Q & A with Ashley and Logan

Q. How did you guys meet?
A. We met at the Underground in Hermosa Beach. I was dancing with a group of friends and he came up to me on the dance floor and started talking. We would both say there was a connection. We had our first date a week later.

Q. How long did you date before you got engaged and how long were you engaged for?
A. We dated for 6 years before we got engaged. We were engaged for 13 months

Q. What was the story of the proposal?
A. We were on a Baltic Sea cruise somewhere in between Russia and Estonia on the cruise. After dinner he asked if we could for a walk. Another couple was in on it, Ashley and Gavin Witzer. We were all on the top deck and they suddenly had to go to the restroom and there Logan got down on one knee and proposed. The box lit up and all I could see was the ring. It was beautiful. Windy and cold night but definitely enjoyed every minute. It all made sense why he barely ate dinner and had sweaty palms that night — haha so not Logan at all.

Q. What’s your favorite thing about being married?
A. I have a partner in the kitchen — haha — Logan is now cooking with me. We do a lot more together!!

Q. What are some of your favorite memories from your wedding day?
A. Every part of it was amazing. We had a blast at the reception. The dance floor was packed until the last song of the night!!

Q. Why did you choose to hire a videographer?
A. To be able to go back and relive your wedding day is absolutely priceless.

Q. What one detail are you glad the videographer captured?
A. Our vows!! Hearing each other say “I do” brought me to tears watching it for the first time after our wedding day.

Q. What piece of advice would you tell a couple planning their wedding?
A. Remember why you are getting married. It’s easy to get lost in the details and let the little things create arguments. Everything will turn out great so just simply enjoy each other along the way.

Q. How did you guys meet?
A. We worked together at a restaurant in Florida

Q. How long did you date before you got engaged and how long were you engaged for?
A. We dated for 2 years and were engaged for 1 year

Q. What was the story of the proposal?
A. He had a card custom made with a Poem his mom found for him and  he went to a grocery store and hid the card between all the other cards. That night we went grocery shopping and he asked me to help him pick out a card for his mom’s birthday. After a few that he read he chose one and asked me to read it and tell him what I think. I read it and said “this is not a card for a mom’s birthday this is a Love poem,” and he said, “I know it’s for you, and he bent down on one knee and proposed, and I said “YES!”  We ditched our grocery cart and went out to a nice dinner together!

Q. What’s your favorite thing about being married?
A. Being able to feel 100% safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for

Q. What’s the funniest thing about being married?
A. Sex is not as frequent and I thought that was just in people’s heads lmao! What I think it is once we got married we worked so hard to pay for the wedding bills we tired ourselves out too much.  Hahaha!

Q. What are some of your favorite memories from your wedding day?
A. The wine in a box was a beautiful part of the ceremony. The funnest part was the Bellydance!

Q. Why did you choose to hire a videographer?
A. Videography and photography is the MOST important part of a wedding so that you will always be able to relive that beautiful memories and feelings

Q. What is one thing you’d tell a couple to make sure they capture on video?
A. Definitely capture each other in your natural state and your natural personality. I think that is the most beautiful and sincere parts of photos and videos

Q. What one detail are you glad the videographer captured?
A. I am very happy my videographer captured our moments of falling in love every time we got excited as we looked at each other. I remember that they captured a text message Chris sent to me as I was getting ready and he called me beautiful and I smiled and got all excited like I do when he sends me sweet messages and they caught that on video and on camera…very IMPRESSIVE:)

Q. What is the best part of being a newlywed?
A. Being able to tell everyone that you’re newlyweds and being able to giggle about it with each other when we are still in disbelief

Q. What piece of advice would you tell a couple planning their wedding?
A. Plan EARLY!!! the earlier the better, and the details matter most. Have FUN planning don’t be stressed at all its not a stressful process it should be a fun and exciting one

Q. What was the hardest part about planning a wedding?
A. Finding the right venue. This sets the whole tone of your wedding, your guest list, your flowers, your dress, EVERYTHING

Q. In a few words, share with future newlyweds some marriage wisdom?
A. Keep the excitement alive…Marriage is a beautiful thing that should be celebrated for a lifetime
