Shermin + Behnam // Feature Film // Mc Cormick Ranch // Camerillo Wedding Cinematography

We mentioned the term “Eye Candy” in an earlier post about Shermin and Behnam wedding teaser! Well, here is their Feature Film, rich with love, the most amazing colors, crazy dancers, commitment and passion. I feel like a broken record when I say that it’s such an honor to be part of some of the most amazing moments in people lives. To see the love that people share with one another is incredible and to be able to document it in a way that creative and emotional just rocks!!! Congrats Shermin and Behnam!! We love you guys and we hope you enjoy your feature film and don’t forget to watch this video every year for your anniversary!

Clarissa + Bensi // Same Day Edit // Marriott Anaheim // Orange County Wedding Cinematography

Q & A with Clarissa and Bensi

Q. How did you guys meet?
A. We were introduced by mutual friends who were getting married. He was the best man and I was the maid of honor.

Q. How long did you date before you got engaged and how long were you engaged for?
A. It’s a long story. To sum up we first tried to date 6 years ago. Didn’t quite work. Second time around started a couple years ago. We got engaged Decmeber 28th, 2010.

Q. What was the story of the proposal?
A. Originally Bensi planned for us to go to New York after Christmas. His idea was to propose at Rockefeller Center. Unfortunately our flight was cancelled due to a blizzard. Plan B was taking me to Disneyland with Dinner at Napa Rose which is where we had our first date 6 years ago. He surprised me with a ring in a box of chocolates.

Q. What are some of your favorite memories from your wedding day?
A. One of our favorite memories of that day was our first dance. Bensi decided to change the beginning of our song to “Bump and Grind” by R Kelley without telling me. It was the funniest thing because it caught me off guard .

Q. Why did you choose to hire a videographer?
A. Because we wanted to capture every part of our wedding but we also wanted to do something different which was have a same day edit shown during our reception.

A. No more cold nights, this winter!

Q. How long did you date before you got engaged and how long were you engaged for?
A. We dated for 18 months and were engaged for 15 months.

Q. What was the story of the proposal?
A. We drove to San Diego on Valentines Day 2010. After wondering what was to be done after dinner, we went for a walk on the beach. Before getting there we spotted a Horse drawn carriage. It was late and we were able to get on the last ride. Half way through the ride, Guillermo got up, as I wondered what he was going to do ( I thought he was going to massage my feet as he kneeled). He suddenly got a ring from his coat and proposed to me on the carriage. I was very surprised and did not expect it ( I thought he would propose a year later ). She thought of knowing when the proposal would occur. I guess she was WRONG!

Q. What’s your favorite thing about being married?
A. Being together all the time, especially waking up next to each other.

Q. What’s the funniest thing about being married?
A. Introducing each other as husband and wife.

A. The wedding ceremony as it reminds you of the commitment to one another.

Q. What piece of advice would you tell a couple planning their wedding?
A. To allow themselves enough time to book everything they want for their wedding day.

Q. In a few words, share with future newlyweds some marriage wisdom?
